With all the festive flavours – think cinnamon, nutmeg, and dried fruit – packed into a creamy, vegan breakfast, this recipe is as comforting as it is nutritious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats I like to use the Linwoods Energy Overnight Oats for added nutritional benefits
- 1 cup dairy free milk of choice I like soya or oat milk
- 1/4 cup natural yoghurt I use Alpro
- 1 orange zested
- 1 orange juiced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp mixed spice
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp agave or maple syrup to sweeten, optional
- 25 g raisins
- 20 g dried cranberries
Toppings
- Natural yoghurt
- Almond butter
- Flaked almonds
- Dried fruit
- Cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together, taste test and add any more sweetener to your preference. Cover and place in the fridge to set for 2 hours or overnight.
- Enjoy with your choice of toppings.
