SUPER U PRODUCT REVIEW

Hi guys!

So, I have to admit, I’ve never been a ‘superfood powder‘ kinda gal.

I’ve always felt slightly sceptical about the magical ‘fix it all’ claims of the superfood revolution. Although, this probably has more to do with the usually off-putting taste, which manages to override my self preservation instinct on a murky Monday morning when a slice of toast and a brew seems far more comforting.. But it was with an open mind that I accepted the kind offer of the delightful Charlotte and her boyfriend Sean who have just launched Super U, whose products are all organic, vegan and gluten free.

These muffins are to DIE for. If you love banana bread, these are perfect for you! You wouldn’t believe they’re made with such nutritious ingredients, like oats, almonds and cacao powder. They’re indulgent, chocolatey and perfectly moist. They only use vegan and gluten free ingredients, and make the best dessert warmed with a dollop of creamy coconut yogurt!

SLICEABLE GARLIC AND HERB CASHEW CHEESE {vegan, gluten free}

This is a very rare savoury recipe from me! If you’re looking for a dairy-free, vegan alternative to satisfy that cheesy craving – you’ve gotta try this! I often make cashew cheese as a dip or sauce to have with meals, but this recipe is sliceable and absolutely perfect for a cheeseboard. The trick is agar-agar powder – I got mine pretty cheap off Amazon! It can be made in under half an hour (aside from setting time) and is so so easy to make. Go go go!

NO BAKE CHOCOLATE CORNFLAKE CAKES {vegan, gluten free}

These have to be my new fave treats. They’re chewy, crunchy + deliciously sweet all at the same time 😍  This recipe is a great one for kids too – its so fun and takes no time at all! Cornflakes don’t have to be just a breakfast cereal! They’re actually very versatile and work amazingly in this recipe. Corn is naturally gluten free, and the recipe is also completely vegan. Enjoy!
