Chocolate Orange Fudge Bars
With a sweet crumble base and topping and a creamy chocolate orange centre, these Chocolate Orange Fudge Bars are the perfect festive no bake treat. I am completely addicted to these and they're something that everybody will love. They're great as a grab and go snack, packed into lunch boxes or enjoyed as a post dinner sweet treat. They're completely vegan, incredibly easy to make, and the best part is, no baking is involved!
Ingredients
No Bake Crumble Base and Topping
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup sweetener of choice I like using the Natvia Synbiotic Sweetener
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Fudge Filling
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or broken up bar
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 2 tsp orange extract
Instructions
- Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
- Add the No Bake Base and Topping ingredients to a large bowl and mix until well combined. Press 3/4 of it into the bottom of the lined loaf tin. Place in the fridge or freezer while you make the fudge filling.
- To make the fudge filling, melt the chocolate by adding it to a small bowl and melting in the microwave in 30 second bursts, or by placing the bowl on top of a simmering pan of water (Bain Marie).
- Once melted, whisk in the almond butter and orange extract until smooth.
- Pour this mixture over the base, then sprinkle over the remaining crumble mixture. Place back in the freezer to set for an hour.
- Remove from the freezer, lift out the slab and slice into 8 squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. Enjoy!

Sounds delicious like all your recipes but can you use orange juice if you do not have orange essence?
Thank you Georgina for all your recipes; I have bookmarked most of them and made a few with many to try.
