This is my new favourite breakfast. It’s ridiculously quick and easy to prepare and to cook. I prefer the texture so much more to normal cooked oats – and that’s not mentioning the incredible health benefits of quinoa!
I’ve always adored banana bread, and have experimented with many plant based versions in the past. That’s why I was so excited when I perfected this recipe! It uses purely plant based and gluten free ingredients, and the addition of the moist blueberries makes them the perfect healthy treat. Try it warm with a dollop of coconut yoghurt and a drizzle of nut butter.
These millionaire’s squares are the ultimate indulgence! They look and taste unbelievable. The texture is just perfect; crumbly, gooey and delicious. You’ll be amazed at just how simple and quick they are to make ~ no baking required and no complicated processes! You have to try these!!! Perfect for an afternoon tea or for elevenses with a cup of tea.
These scones are so delicious. Plant based, gluten free, but still so tasty! I love how they aren’t too sweet, kind of like a cross between a cupcake and a biscuit. Perfect for a healthy afternoon tea! Top with a generous amount of coconut whip and raspberry chia jam. Yummmmy.
There’s nothing quite like the taste of homemade creamy roasted almond butter.. and at a fraction of the cost of store bought jars – this is an absolute must. I love having a delicious alternative to peanut butter, along with the incredible health benefits: healthy fats, protein, antioxidants, vitamin E, magnesium.. they’re also the perfect skin food! I recommend smothering on toast and topping with chewy medjool dates (pictured further down). yum.
These cookies are DIVINE. Cinnamon and raisin is one of the best combinations, especially when paired together in a moist, chewy cookie. These are gluten free and vegan, made with the simplest wholesome ingredients; oats, ground almonds, coconut oil, raisins.. Give them a go, you know you want to!
These are SO popular and taste unreal! It’s the combination of the dark chocolate with the creamy peanut butter that makes them so moorish. Literally 4 ingredients and 10 minutes out of your day – and you’re left with the most delicious vegan treat.
I absolutely love having buckwheat as a change from oats for breakfast. Completely gluten free and high in protein, fibre, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus; buckwheat really is the perfect way to start your day! And easier than you thought to prepare. The soaking overnight is important not only to aid digestion, but it also drastically cuts down on the amount of cooking time in the morning as it softens the buckwheat groats!
Granola might actually be one of my favourite foods ever.. it’s the combination of toasted nuts and seeds, the clusters of baked oats and the sweet, chewy raisins. This recipe requires a few basic, nutritious ingredients and your kitchen will smell incredible while it’s baking! It’s amazing on smoothies, with coconut yoghurt or even straight from the jar..
