Mocha Blended Oats

If you still haven't tried blending your overnight oats, now is the time to do so! It creates the most heavenly dessert-like consistency that I can't get enough of. Completely vegan and dairy free, these Mocha Blended Oats are the perfect way to combine your morning coffee with your breakfast. They're perfect as a snack, breakfast, or even a healthier post-dinner dessert.

Servings 2 people

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats I like using the Linwoods Chocolate Protein Oats
  • 1 cup soya milk
  • 1-2 shots espresso (depending on desired strength) or mix 1-2 tsp of instant coffee with a little boiled water
  • 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup to taste
  • 1/4 cup natural or Greek yoghurt I use vegan
  • Pinch salt

For serving

  • Natural or Greek yoghurt
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Dark chocolate shavings

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until a thick and creamy consistency forms.
  • Pour into your serving bowl or ramekin and leave to set for 1 hour or overnight.
  • Serve with natural yoghurt, a dusting of cocoa powder and/or dark chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
