Bread Dipping Oil

This bread dip went viral on social media a couple of years ago and let me tell you, it IS worth the hype. Gone are the days of plain old oil and balsamic. This bread dipping oil combines all the best ingredients together to create the most delicious, salty, sweet and tangy dip for warm, crusty bread.
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp sumac optional
- 3 sundried tomatoes chopped finely
- 1 small handful fresh parsley
- 1 small handful fresh basil
- 1 generous pinch salt
- 1 handful olives of choice chopped - I like to keep these bigger for added texture
For serving
- Good quality bread such as ciabatta or sourdough warmed
Combine the ingredients together in a shallow dish and stir.
Taste test and add any more ingredients to your preference. Mop up with warm, crusty bread and enjoy!
